Güiria.- Officials of Egypt’s Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI) visited the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Industrial Complex (CIGMA), as the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Arab Republic of Egypt continue to strengthen bilateral relations.
At CIGMA, the Domestic Market Gas Conditioning Plant (PAGMI) is being built to incorporate the first 300 million cubic feet of gas per day in the fourth quarter of 2017. This is part of PDVSA’s Mariscal Sucre project in the city of Güiria, Sucre state, whose production is aimed at the domestic market.
Vice Minister of Gas and PDVSA Offshore Executive Director, Douglas Sosa, accompanied the Egyptian ambassador to Venezuela, Khaled Omran, and President of ENPPI, Mohamed Hathout.
They considered new offshore business projects, learned about the progress of Accelerated Production Scheme, inlet facilities, portable dehydration units and services related to the super structure that will condition the gas coming from offshore gas fields.
PDVSA continues to strengthen strategic alliances with sister nations, as foreign partners acknowledge the high international standing of Venezuela’s oil company.
