The La Estancia Arts Center is a PDVSA tool used to implement cultural programs, social development projects and programs on restoration of the heritage.
This magnificent cultural center promotes and disseminates the traditional and modern arts and reasonable enjoyment and use of its well protected natural spaces.
Multiple plants spread over the gardens of the La Estancia Arts Center, affording it a unique feature that turns us into the cultural oasis of the Great Caracas. Impressive mijaos and saman trees, fragrant mango trees, leafy olive trees and an aromatic range of pretty flowers captivate all those seeking to break their daily routine in an original, healthy and gratuitous way.
The management of Dr. Beatrice Sansó de Ramírez, managing director of the PDVSA social and cultural arm, shifted the harmful administration that restricted the use of these beautiful facilities to closed, powerful top groupings and individuals who ignored that this site is a national heritage.
As a result of opening and community outreach, the La Estancia Arts Center went from as few as 6,000 people a year up to 60,000 visitors a month. In addition, it gives a decisive social, sports and cultural support to organized communities.
