Caracas.- Mr. Tareck El Aissami, Sector Vice president to the Economy Area and People’s Minister of Petroleum outlined today Venezuela’s participation in the 26th OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee meeting with the view to guaranty stability of oil market sustainability.
Mr. El Aissami sent a message on his Twitter @ Tareckpsuv stating that “the 26th OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee is in full swing. We continue working on the necessary balance towards oil market stability. WE SHALL OVERCOME TOGETHER!!”
The meeting is lead by his Royal Highness, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salmán Al Saud, president to the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) and Minister of Petroleum from Saudi Arabia, and H.E. Alexander Novak, co-president to the JMMC and Energy Minister from the Russian Federation. H.E. Diamantino Azevedo, president to OPEC Conference 2021 and Minister for Hydrocarbons and Mineral Resources from Angola, and H.E. Mohammad Barkindo, Secretary General to OPEC also attended the meeting.
A report on oil market evolution and levels of compliance with production adjustments by OPEC Secretariat was discussed during the meeting.
