New PDVSA Board of Directors published in Official Gazette

Caracas.- On May 3, 2018, Decree N° 3398 of the Presidency of the Republic was published in Official Gazette N° 41389, by means of which the Board of Directors of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) is named, ratifying Manuel Quevedo as President of PDVSA.

The decree, signed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, also confirms the appointments of Ysmel Serrano as Executive Vice President; Guillermo Blanco as Vice President of Refining; Nelson Ferrer as Vice President of Exploration and Production; Fernando de Quintal, Vice President of Trade and Supply; Iliana Ruzza, Vice President of Finance; Nemrod Contreras, Vice President of Gas; Marcos Rojas Marchena, Vice President of International Affairs, and Miguel José Quintana, Vice President of Planning and Engineering.

Wills Rangel, Yurbis Gómez and Ricardo Leon stay on their functions as External Directors, along with Simón Zerpa Delgado.

The conformation of this team work shall contribute to the strengthening of the oil industry and the fulfillment of the four following key tasks to achieve a successful new phase, in order to increase the production of the company in one million barrels, recover the national refining system, increase the country petrochemical capacity in one hundred per cent and comply with the supply of crude oil to China, India, Petrocaribe and the United States, actions contemplated in the Socialist Strategic Plan (PES) 2016-2026.
