Minister Quevedo heads meeting to bolster fuel supply to the domestic market

Caracas.- On Sunday, People’s Minister of Petroleum and President of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), Manuel Quevedo, led a meeting with officials of the People’s Ministry of Petroleum and PDVSA to discuss issues related to the supply of fuel to the domestic market.
 
PDVSA Executive Vice President and Vice President of Trade and Supply, Ysmel Serrano, as well as Vice President of Exploration and Production, Nelson Ferrer; Vice President of Refining, Guillermo Blanco, and officials of People’s Ministry of Petroleum and PDVSA’s Internal Market, participated in the meeting.

They discussed projects to increase the productivity of the refineries that make up the national refining circuit; they also set strategies to ensure the safe, reliable and regular supply of fuel to the domestic market.
 
Minister Quevedo said that one of the priorities of the Bolivarian Government in the short term is to strengthen the processes aimed at guaranteeing the access of the Venezuelan people to fuel, given the difficulties caused by the economic and financial blockade imposed by the US government’s to the detriment of the quality of life of Venezuelans.
